Several of this group of dogs are certainly from the late 1800's though not individually dated. (Leftmost is from 1914.) They no doubt precede Bitru from 1906. Wonder if the dates would appear in any other database?

That is a very good question. Thus far we have not found anything that has any dates other than what we have entered. Finding all information on dogs that old has been a challenge to say the least. Record keeping was not that great and most people who were the breeders have not kept the records or they are not around to ask.
